Okay, let me set the bar right for this one. I love my coffee- I mean, no I cannot go without it. I, just can’t.
Is it a need? Sure. Is it something that I absolutely cannot live without? 100% yes. So I hope I’m clear, I am not going to hate on coffee- I’m here to tell you, how to take it right and maybe feel more than you do, with the same cup of coffee. This quick bite-sized podcast should tell you how much coffee to take in a day, when’s the best time to consume the same and the right way to drink it- so it gives you a caffeine hit that lasts longer than it usually does. This is Akshat Gupta, and you’re listening to the 23rd episode of the Teenpreneur Digest.
This, also happens to be the most highly requested podcast and it’s getting me all excited even though I’m finally and actually recording it.
So, caffeine- I’ll assume you don’t need the sweet intro talk about it so let me quickly answer the questions I stated above. Let’s speed this up, because I’d like you to do something with your saved time and I’ll tell you at the end of this podcast about what that is.
Question 1: What is the best time to take your coffee?
Well, it’s most definitely not what you all do. Most of us take our coffee right after bed. Ladies and gentlemen, it’s okay to do so but the limited energy inside your morning coffee replaces the energy that your body should’ve generated by default to get moving right after bed. Instead of letting you body do the morning work, you’re telling it to not work hard and simply letting caffeine do it’s work. This, will make your immune system and your body/bones weak over time. So the best time is to take your coffee at least 3-hours post waking up.
Question 2: How much caffeine to consume?
Here, I’m assuming your soft drinks consumption is zero. Getting off track here, lads, if you’re into regular soft drinks, quit them at the earliest. Soda and caffeine when mixed together are detrimental to your health and your teeth- not a famous fact but it locks into your mouth and is the main reason for bad breathe which can last longer than it needs to. Getting to the question, how much caffeine? Well, once a day and no more. You may drink how much ever you want. A glass, two, three. The reason why I’m saying this is I know for a fact you won’t be able to take more than one or at max two but take in as much as your body and your gut pleases. But just ONE time in the day.
Question 3: How to drink it?
You must be thinking, this is crazy, how is Akshat going to tell me how to drink my coffee? Well, believe him here, he has a way that works for him and you’re sure you wanna try it out. So, instead of consuming your coffee in one go within like 10-minutes, have it spread over an hour.
In simpler words, take tiny sips of your coffee as if it were a cocktail or whiskey of some sort. What this will do, is it will give your body an insane delayed fuse and your body feels the caffeine rush for an insanely long period of time. It’s simple, instead of chucking the entire coffee at once, have it covered with a coaster and keep sipping it in the middle of your online classes or work sessions! You’ll not regret this.
